Located at our Jalna Manufacturing site in Thomastown, we are looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to help assist the site's day-to-day management of mechanical resources including, covering plant and equipment repairs, maintenance and installations.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager your working hours would be Monday - Friday 05:50-14:00.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Work with key stakeholders and cross functional teams and manage planned and unplanned maintenance works as required to ensure reliable operation of all areas of the factory, ensuring minimum plant downtime.
- Increase the sites operational effectiveness through improvements on project delivery, downtime reduction initiatives and completion of root-cause analysis for repeated breakdowns ensuring that a standard approach is taken.
- Coordinate rosters and induct, coach and manage day to day performance and development of team members to ensure all objectives are achieved.
- Ensure all work carried out by contractors, service technicians and team members is completed as required and meets required standards.
- Implement and manage continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principals by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes.
- Improve planned and predicative maintenance standards including assisting with determining spare parts to meet reasonable requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all company and industry regulations and standards in the manufacturing process.
- Provide after-hours support to site as required to ensure continued operation (on a roster basis).
About you:
Trade Qualification as Mechanical Fitter or Industrial Electrician; exposure to automation highly desirable.
Extensive experience in engineering maintenance, with experience in the Dairy, FMCG industry preferred.
Ability to identify mechanical and electrical issues and work to proactively resolve them.
Proficient with SAP, Microsoft Office and Safety systems.
